How she got trapped in the puzzle box

In ages long past, Jörnann and some of her giant children retreated to the mountains after population of the Haden Desert by sentient peoples. However, the people continued to push into the mountains, and so the giants fought back. Eventually Zora, a heroine of the peoples of the Haden Desert, led a campaign against the mountains. On her way she dragged her sword along the earth, and her great power thus created Zora’s Furrow, a massive canyon and river.

Intimidated, most of the giants fled west. Jörnann, however, stayed to fight. The battle was long, but eventually Zora bound Jörnann and trapped her in a puzzle box that she had brought. Puzzle boxes were and are a favorite craft among the peoples of the Haden Desert.

The puzzle box was hidden no-one-knows where. However, it is said that Jörnann from within the box transformed it, such that if opened it will lead to an ancient treasure.
