Perrinor

Last session, our heroes sat in the hold of the Midlane as Elias, cornered by the party, set about explaining some aspects of his past and identity. He said that he was involved in a rebellion against Lord Emperor Kogar Mistwall in his homeland the Nor’Southern Isles. Ash, the person who etched the note in his pocket watch, was feeding information to the rebellion through Elias. Imperial soldiers found the resistance headquarters, however, and decimated them. Elias discovered Ash’s real name was Petunia Ashlyn Mistwall. She was the daughter of Kogar, and information Elias had shared with her was instrumental in the devastating attack on the resistance. Elias fled the Nor’Southern Isles for Perrinor. While traveling with the party, he also learned that Lucien Dynastic has some connection to the Nor’Southern Isles.

Oh also Elias revealed he has no brothers.

The party then spent the last few hours before their arrival at Eken. Heph constructed Alchemist’s Supplies, Maho played with a stack of apples, and Elias chatted with Peg Leg Stephanie about hunting people for sport. Ana expertly disguised Maho as a pegasus, allowing her to disembark outside the confines of a wooden crate. She discussed her father in Eken, and asked Heph for advice. The Midlane then arrived at the base of the tischberg on which Eken sits. The Belay Rail, a series of ropes and cables and pulleys maneuvering cars and platforms up the massive cliff face, covered a mile horizontally and hundreds of feet vertically. The party selected a fancy looking car made of smooth metal and glass, administered by a be-wigged man with a clipboard. After some shenanigans, Elias convinced him he was Duke Pippinpadolopsocopolias the IVth, and that Duke Pippinpadolopsocopolias the IVth had access to the car, and they were let in.

The party took the around 45 minute ride to the top of the cliff, accompanied by just one stranger, a wealthy woman of the Coterie “Hess”, who was told they were going to Fantasy Furry Con. They exited the car and got their first full glimpse of the massive city of Eken, its dense, square buildings covered in gardens and greenery and stretching far into the distance. Maho posed their first stop as Tap That Glass, a blacksmith/blown glass shop in the neighborhood of Tuki.
